Exciting Speech!

My wife is taking a speech class over the internet. I'm not sure how you can take a speech class over the internet, but that's what she's doing.

Anyways, she's taking this class, and she had a speech due today. The requirement was that she had to video the speech and have a few people in the audience to listen.

We don't have a video camera so we borrowed one. Unfortunately, it was too old and did not have the right hookups so we could send the file to her teacher. So we bought a web cam. After a lot of trial and error we finally go it to work. Due to all of the trouble, we didn't have the time to correct any mistakes etc. So, we zapped this video on over to her teacher (who lives in Texas), and hopefully she'll give a good grade for the effort. (Again, I don't understand the concept of a speech class over the internet, with a teacher in Texas...)

I had never upload a video to YouTube before, so I decided to upload my wife's speech so she would be thoroughly humiliated by the millions of people who I'm sure will watch it (because everyone is interested in the history of a penny). :-)

So, if you are - this video is for you!

By the way, I'm not sure how long my wife will allow me to have this video online, so you had better watch it while you have a chance! :-)

  1. It was cool to get to see her again, even if it wasn't in person. Hope she gets a good grade on it. I thought she did well. Way to go, Michelle!!!

  2. Your wife is adorable. Maybe I need to sign up for speech class, since I'm much more comfortable with the blogginess.

  3. Pastor Jon,

Your wife is just wonderful; excellent voice, very good delivery and pacing, and so very nice, so very nice, to hear her accent. Are your sure she knows you have this available on the web, or are you going to get in big trouble?
