KJV?

Recently I posted a quick overview of my views about the different Bible translations.

Pulpit Magazine has been posted an intresting look at the whole KJV only debate. I thought I would link to it so you could check it out.

  1. Jon, while I enjoy your blog and read it often, I do believe there will be certain areas in which we simply disagree. This is one of them. As I stated before, I do look to the KJV as my Bible and as the only truly inspired Word of God. I do not wish to get into a long debate about it either. Please don't take this comment as an offense, for I would never wish to offend a brother in Christ. Just look at it as my view. Thanks for understanding.

  2. Hey Larry, I didn't realize you were a KJV only. You didn't say in your previous comments that you believed the KJV to be the only true inspired Word of God (unless I missed it). The only reason I mention this is because I didn't want you to think that my latest post about KJV only was directed towards you. I don't agree with you, but we're all entitled to our own opinions - even if yours is wrong! Just kidding! :-)

  3. Hey Jon, sorry for the misunderstanding. Yeah, I am KJV only. I don't take your comments offensively so don't be afraid of offending me! (it's your blog anyway!) Yeah I guess we will see who was right when we stand before God's throne one day :) Like you said we all have our different opinions and that's what makes us unique. Don't worry I love reading your blog and will continue to do so. (Unless you convert to Islam or something like that :) )
