Rated PG

Warning! You've got to watch out for that dangerous message of Christianity...

The Motion Picture Association of America is now rating movies with Christian themes as PG. Movies that promote the homosexual lifestyle do not receive the same warning according to the American Family Association.

What has stirred up this issue is a movie called "Facing the Giants." This movie is being put out by Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany Georgia which I have been to and is only a half hour away from me. This same church previously put out a movie called "Flywheel" which was very good and was released locally. It made a big splash locally when it was shown on one screen at a theater in Albany and was the #1 movie for several weeks in a row. Other local theater's began picking up the movie and it became very popular. Now they are releasing "Facing the Giants" in over 400 theater's nationwide.

Because this movie features miracles and a pro-God theme it has earned the PG rating because it would offend non-believers! The American Family Association sent out an action alert about this earlier this week.

The reason I find this so intresting is the fact that some movies with lots of objective material receive only a "G" rating, while this Christian movie which is squeeky clean receives a PG rating because of Christian content. Hello?!
