Blending of Christianity and Islam

For those who justify owning a television because they watch the "religious" programs, here is another reason why you should avoid them:

On August 30, Trinity Broadcast Network interview a former Nation of Islam member named Dr. Jeremiah Cummings. Here's a a brief sample of what was said:

Paul Crouch, Jr. (host) asks Cummings, “Now do you have to turn your back on Muhammad when you become a Christian?” Cummings: “No, because Muhammad had a purpose. In Surah 39, verse 17, you must understand that the Muslim world before they had the Quran and before Muhammad came they worshipped three hundred and sixty-five idol gods. And Muhammad came and said (speaking Arabic) – ‘There is only one God.’ So he brought reformation to a nation that was in idolatry.”

I wonder if Muhammad found his "purpose" by reading "The Purpose Driven Life"? :-)
