Jonathan Yates my Uncle-in-law, blogged (and commented below) about Church #30 on the list of the top 50 churches in America (see below). This church recently had a strip club owner speak at the church. Which, begs the question (as Jonathan put it), social agenda or the Gospel?
As I see it, the purpose of the Church is not to promote social agenda, but to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ that delivers people from their sins.
Somehow this whole story doesn't fit in the whole "it's a glorious church, without spot or wrinkle" thing does it?
