Has Noah's Ark been found?

Satellite images may launch a scientific expedition to search for Noah's Ark.

"I see for a 1,015 feet in length a shiplike object that has almost unbroken symmetry," said Porcher Taylor, an assistant professor at the University of Richmond. He calculated that the object in the photo had the same length-to-width ratio — 300 cubits by 500 cubits — of the ark described in the Bible. That is about the size of an aircraft carrier.

People have been floating the idea around for some time that the ark has been found (no pun intended :-). Due to the government in Turkey and the altitude of the discovery it has been difficult to prove that this was the ark. However, it looks like there may finally be an expedition this summer.

Fox News (video) ABC news, Space.com and others have had stories on this recently. Click on the links for more info.

DigitalGlobe's QuickBird commercial remote sensing satellite imaged the Mt. Ararat "anomaly" in 2003. This image has never seen by the public until now. The anomaly is surrounded below by very rugged-looking strato-volcanic rock; however, the texture of the feature in question is relatively smooth and appears to be made of a different substance. Canadian Space Agency's RADARSAT-1 image of Mt. Ararat. This radar image is 8-meter resolution, the highest commercial capability in the world. Circled in red is the "anomaly" location on the northwest corner of Ararat's Western Plateau at 15,300 feet. Since a radar satellite is not optical, but shoots back radio beams of solid structures, this image confirms, according to researchers, that the anomaly is not the effect of shadows. Several years ago, the CIA declassified over 55,000 satellite images of various places around the world, including this image. Credit: CIA/Porcher Taylor

  1. With all the other ice caps
    melting around the world, maybe
    it'll finally be exposed.

Watching this for many years on 1970's tv and other sci-fi shows, and like bigfoot 'footage',
I dont believe this is it
or will it ever be found.

    Several years ago, the shuttle
'mapped' under ground images for the entire planet.
It was a practice run for the
imager they sent to Mars, et.al.

    Here on Earth they found
hidden cities under the sand and
deep rivers buried long ago still
    flowing today.

However, no one has come forward with radar maps for this spot?

    Just surface images?

So, I'd like to get my hopes up,
    but, won't hold my breath.

  3. There have been several other highly convincing reports, one of steel rods found in the ground, one of a perfect boat shape with evidence of animals, could this information tell us that there might have been more than one arc>
